Meet the Candidates Meetings
The Trust is holding two Meet the Candidates meetings in the lead up to the LGA elections
The Local Government Elections will be held on Saturday 4th December 2021. These elections were originally due in 2020 but delayed due to COVID-19.
The Trust has members across two LGA areas:
- Hornsby Shire Council – North Epping (C Ward)
- City of Parramatta Council – Epping town centre, east Epping, and west Epping (Epping Ward)
MEET THE CANDIDATES MEETINGS
The Trust are keen to give members and residents the opportunity to hear from candidates for both the councils – and to question them on their policies and aims. The Trust plans to hold TWO candidate meetings – one for each council area – so that everyone can be heard and questions specific to those councils be asked. The meetings will be face to face, complying with all relevant COVID safe guidelines – masks, QR code, distancing etc.
It is the Trust policy to invite all candidates that have nominated to stand to attend.
The meeting details are:
1) Monday 15th November 6.30pm – C Ward and Mayor election for Hornsby Shire Council (for people living in North Epping).
North Epping Bowling Club – NOTE THE EARLIER START TIME
2) Tuesday 16th November, 7.30pm – Epping Ward for City of Parramatta Council (for all other Epping residents)
Epping RSL, Rawson St, Epping
Everyone is welcome – please let friends and neighbours know as these will probably be the only candidates meetings held in Epping.
